This site started as a project for one of my classes with Capella University. I decided to take a class in web design, and my Professor let me do a family home page for my final project. In my project request, I explained that we were moving to Okinawa, Japan in July of 2005, and I wanted to create a site that my friends and family could visit. There will be a lot of pictures posted when we get to Japan.

I created this site using Macromedia Dreamweaver. For my graphics, I use Macromedia Fireworks, and for videos I use Macromedia Flash. During my class, I purchased several books on using the Macromedia products, and I will continue to master them in the future.

The Guestbook was created with MySQL and PHP. Dreamweaver makes it easy to access the Guestbook database and allows users to interact with the site. I am still exploring the options of having a database in the web site.
